Cassiopeia

Taken tonight, this is a shot of a region close to the Cassiopeia – Cepheus border. The open cluster M52 is visible at the top of the image, then directly below it is the Bubble Nebula, NGC7635. Below and to the right is the bright nebula NGC7538, while the patch of nebulosity in the lower left of the image is part of the nebula Sh2-157. Taken on the Atik 314L+ with a H-alpha filter and a Canon 200mm f2.8L lens, it’s comprised of 27 x 3 min exposures.
